Tools

I noticed that I was often telling folks about these tools, so I put together a page that made referencing them easier. Most of these are affiliate links, meaning that I earn a small commission if you use my links to access them.

ClickUp

Last fall, I changed productivity systems for the first time in over a decade. Why?

Because one tool replaced a half-dozen others, allowed me to coordinate with teammates, and was flexible enough to organize all sorts of projects.

That tool was ClickUp.

I use it to organize my personal life, the CPA firm, our Coach.me workflow, and all sorts of smaller projects. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

Leave Me Alone App

If there’s one thing that can instantly cause me to feel overwhelmed, it’s an avalanche of email.

Thankfully, there’s a tool to take back control.

With the Leave Me Alone app, you can assign each of your emails to various Rollups, and decide exactly when and how often you’ll receive them.

Here’s a link to get started.

Gusto

For all of our teams, I use Gusto for payroll and contractors.

It’s a turnkey solution that includes payroll, compliance, tax filings, direct deposit (even internationally), benefits, and workers comp insurance.

All for very reasonable fees.

Here’s a link to try it out for your business.
